Probowl voting has officially wrapped up and voting has looked extremely close. Only some teams will have a pro bowler, and others will have multiple. Now’s the time to give props to one player on each team before the official votes are announced.

Arizona Cardinals- Budda Baker, Safety

Since his breakout year, Baker has been one of the top safeties in the league, and he hasn’t slowed down this year. He is near the top of the league in tackles among safeties and has been a threat in coverage with four pass deflections and one interception. The Cardinals have not had much to be proud of this year, but Baker is one of them.

Atlanta Falcons- Younghoe Koo, Kicker

It’s not a good sign when your most pro bowl worthy player is a kicker, but it’s not necessarily a bad thing either. Koo has been by far one of the best kickers in the league this year and has been the leading points scorer for the Falcons this year. It’s not a flashy selection for them but someone has to provide the kickers.

Baltimore Ravens- Justin Tucker, Kicker

I badly wanted to give this spot to either Roquan Smith or Patrick Quenn but Justin Tucker’s excellence at the kicker position can’t go overlooked. Justin Tucker has a total of 113 points on the season and has only missed a combined four field goals and extra points this year. So while the Ravens have other worthy players, Tucker is too good to pass up.

Buffalo Bills- Stephon Diggs, Wide Receiver

Josh Allen is another chalk pick you could take, but has some questions about his decision-making, whereas Diggs has been a top-three wide receiver this year. He has 94 receptions for 1,239 yards and ten touchdowns. So while you could make a Josh Allen argument, Diggs is probably the most deserving of the two.

Carolina Panthers- Brian Burns, Edge Rusher

Brian Burns has been the staple of the Carolina Panthers’ defensive success and has only gotten better every week. Burns has 10.5 sacks on the year and has quickly shown why he’s one of the best Edge rushers in the league. The Panthers haven’t had much to watch this year, but Brian Burns gives them some hope.

Chicago Bears- Jaquan Brisker, Safety

There is little to be thankful for at this point for the Chicago Bears, but the production they’ve gotten out of this rookie has been outstanding. He has been lockdown in coverage and has prevented many big plays with his 73 total tackles on the year. Even though he’s probably not deserving of a spot, he is the most deserving on this roster.

Cincinnati Bengals- Joe Burrow, Quarterback

The Bengals have had to deal with many injuries this year to some of their top players, including Joe Mixon and Ja’Marr Chase, yet Burrow has been able to keep this team afloat. On the year he has completed 64% of his passes for 3,685 yards and 27 touchdowns. With his team’s success and being top three in both passing yards and touchdowns, I think he’s most deserving on the team.

Cleveland Browns- Nick Chubb, Runningback

Even with the Browns looking underwhelming, Nick Chubb has looked like the best running back in the league. It is almost impossible for teams to stop him due to how strong and fast he is. His dominance this year should almost certainly get him into the pro bowl

Dallas Cowboys- Micah Parsons, Edge Rusher

Micah Parsons has been one of the best defensive players in the whole league this year, there’s a reason why he’s a candidate for Defensive Player Of The Year. Parsons has been a dominant force on the edge and has dropped into coverage well this season too. You could argue Tony Pollard, but Parsons I believe is more deserving.

Denver Broncos- Patrick Surtain II, Cornerback

Patrick Surtain has proven this year why he should be considered a top corner in the league in only year two of his career. Surtain has been the definition of lockdown this year, putting up a whopping nine pass deflections, and has been targeted very few times this year.

Detroit Lions- Penei Sewell, Offensive Tackle

There are many players you could argue for the Lions since their Oline is so good you could really go with any of them or even Amon-Ra St. Brown, but Sewell has been on another level this year. He has been a dominant pass protector and an above-average run protector this year and even has a game-winning reception for the Lions. He has been without a doubt one of the best tackles in the league this season and he deserves this spot.

Greenbay Packers- Aaron Jones, Runningback

Throughout this season the Packers haven’t had too many outstanding players that have been able to stay healthy. Jones, however, has quietly been one of the best backs in the NFC this season averaging 5.2 yards per carry this season and being the best weapon on Greenbay’s offense.

Houston Texans- Jalen Pitre, Safety

This season has been miserable for the Houston Texans and they have had very few bright spots, their rookie class though has looked very good and Pitre probably looking the best of them. He has 104 total tackles on the and has been spectacular in coverage with six pass deflections and three interceptions. While he probably won’t make it, Pitre is a star in the making a deserves some recognition.

Indianapolis Colts- Stephon Gilmore, Cornerback

The Colts have certainly had a disappointing season largely due to their offense, but their defense has been outstanding and it’s largely due to Stephon Gilmore. Gilmore has returned to his DPOY form as a lockdown cornerback, putting up ten combined pass deflections and interceptions this season.

Jacksonville Jaguars- Devin Lloyd, Linebacker

The Jaguars got an absolute steal with this pick at the back end of the first round as he has played spectacularly in his time this season. On top of being a good pass rusher, Lloyd has been great in coverage with nine combined pass deflections and interceptions and 89 total tackles.

Kansas City Chiefs- Patrick Mahomes, Quarterback

This should come as no surprise to anyone, as once again Mahomes has been proving why he’s the best QB in the league and that he can lead any team to success. Once he lost Tyreek Hill in the offseason people expected him to fall off, now he has one of the best records in the AFC and is an MVP favorite.

Las Vegas Raiders- Josh Jacobs, Runningback

Based on counting stats Josh Jacobs has been the best running back in the league this year. He and Davante Adams are the only players keeping this team afloat at the moment and they are doing it well. Josh Jacobs leads the league in rushing yards and is third in touchdowns, as he tries to prove why he deserves another contract.

Los Angeles Chargers- Derwin James, Safety

Derwin James was on a mission this year to prove the doubters wrong after getting through many injuries, and he did just that. He showed that even after injury he is still one of the best all-around safeties in the league as he has106 total tackles and three forced turnovers.

Los Angeles Rams- Bobby Wagner, Linebacker

With everyone writing him off because of his age, after being signed by the Rams, Bobby Wagner has played like one of the best linebackers in the league again. This season he has a total of 111 tackles and five combined pass deflections and interceptions.

Miami Dolphins- Tyreek Hill, Wide Reciever

A lot of people are saying Tua is the most deserving Dolphins player to make the pro bowl, but the whole reason he is playing well is because the Dolphins added Tyreek Hill and he is playing like a top-three receiver. This season Tyreek Hill is first in receptions and second in receiving yards among the whole league while competing with Jaylen Waddle for targets.

Minnesota Vikings- Justin Jefferson, Wide Receiver

As I was just talking about Tyreek Hill is the second-best receiver this year it is all because of this man right here. Justin Jefferson has been undoubtedly the best receiver this year due to his stats and Randy Moss like play this season. It seems no matter what you do to try and stop him, it won’t work because he is so good.

New England Patriots- Matthew Judon, Edge Rusher

At this point in the season, Judon is second in sacks among all players and every game feels like he just keeps getting better and better. If he hadn’t slowed down the past couple of weeks he may be in DPOY conversations right now.

New Orleans Saints- Tyrann Mathieu, Safety

The Saints have been extremely disappointing this year as they were expected to go on a run with their new and improved team, but Mathieu seems to be the only one to live up to it. He has a combined seven pass deflections and interceptions and has been all over the field for the Saints.

New York Giants- Saquan Barkley, Runningback

As of recently Barkley has kind of slowed down, along with the team but that doesn’t excuse the tear he was on at the beginning of the year. He has just come off of two major injuries and has 1,083 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns on the year.

New York Jets- Quinnen Williams, Defensive Tackle

Williams has been the anchor to this stifling Jets defense, as he affects the running defense and the pass rush greatly. Not only does he have one of the best run-stop rates, but he has 11 sacks as a defensive tackle, which is unheard of.

Philadelphia Eagles- Jalen Hurts, Quarterback

It may be the addition of AJ Brown, but Jalen Hurts has developed incredibly and is probably the MVP favorite right now. He currently has 3,843 total yards, 32 total touchdowns, and only two interceptions on the whole year. With how he’s playing and his team is succeeding, he is a lock for the pro bowl.

Pittsburgh Steelers- Minkah Fitzpatrick, Safety

Minkah Fitzpatrick has proven year in and year out that he is at least a top-three safety in this league, and this year is no different. He has 12 combined pass deflections and interceptions and still has 73 tackles on the year despite missing two games.

San Francisco 49ers- Nick Bosa, Edge Rusher

Nick Bosa has been undoubtedly the leader for DPOY this season and there’s good reason for it. Bosa leads the league in sacks with 15.5 and has been an unblockable player all season long. He is one of the main reasons for the 49ers’ defense being the best in the league and he has shown no signs of stopping.

Seattle Seahawks- Tariq Woolen, Cornerback

Tariq Woolen has been one of the best overall rookies in this year’s class and a top-three defensive rookie this season. He has been a great ball hawk for the Seahawks and has been above-average in overall coverage. In terms of rookie Corners, he is a very close second to Sauce Gardner which is a great company to be in.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Devin White, Linebacker

Devin White has been the biggest piece to the Buccaneers’ defense playing so well, largely due to how much of the field he is able to play. He is one of the league’s best tacklers and can get sideline to sideline with ease in coverage.

Tennessee Titans- Derrick Henry, Runningback

Derrick Henry is one year removed from a season-ending injury, but has not missed a step and came back exactly how he left off and is most definitely one of the leaders for comeback player of the year. He is the Titans’ whole team, and is currently second in the league for rushing yards and tied for third in rushing touchdowns

Washington Commanders- Terry Mclaurin, Wide Receiver

Terry Mclaurin has been a dominant force at the receiver position no matter who his quarterback is. He has dealt with multiple QB changes this year and has put up 945 receiving yards so far this year which is the main reason for the Commanders’ success this season.
