The NFL trade deadline is approaching and it is shaping up to be a good one. There have already been some interesting trades, including Christian McCaffrey to the 49ers and James Robinson to the Jets. Plus there are some interesting storylines building up, with teams underperforming and players getting disgruntled. Let’s break down some big players that could part from their teams and where their best fits would be.

One- Elijah Moore, New York Jets Wide receiver

Moore is an underrated deep threat and route runner, that any receiver-needy team would love to have. Moore has been extremely underused in New York and he has publicly voiced his frustration with the team. Moore has been targeted a laughable amount of times throughout the year, and Moore has even gone to the extent of creating a burner Twitter account to hate on the Jets for not using him. While the Jets have already denied the request, don’t be surprised if he gets dealt before the deadline. His top targets would probably be the Ravens, Giants, or Packers.

Two- Mac Jones, New England Patriots Quarterback

This is a surprising one for almost everyone, as Jones was the Patriots first round pick just last year and was supposed to be their franchise QB. The fact of the matter is however, Bailey Zappe has just played way better. Just two drives into the Bears game on Monday night Bill Belichick pulled the trigger and benched Mac Jones. It’s not a secret that Jones hasn’t been exactly what the Patriots wanted when they drafted him, but to bench him so quickly and give up all hope on him shows a lot. The top destinations for Jones would likely be the Panthers, the Colts, or the Texans.

Three- Roquan Smith, Chicago Bears Linebacker

Going into the season Smith was desperate to be traded from Chicago because they would not give him the extension he deserves. Now it’s seven weeks into the season and Smith hasn’t lost a step, playing like one of the best linebackers in all of football again. The Bears as a team, however, as expected haven’t looked very good, and they still have yet to give him his extension. If they don’t give him the money he deserves, he could likely be traded. His top destinations are the Falcons, the Raiders, or the Eagles.

Four- Chase Claypool, Wide Receiver Pittsburgh Steelers

Chase Claypool has had a roller coaster of a career so far, having a really good rookie year, then kind of falling off afterward. While he hasn’t been great, he can still be a solid receiver option for any team with a significant need at receiver. Claypool is still on his rookie deal and has been overshadowed a bit by other receivers on the team. He can be a nice slot option or outside receiver due to his size and route running for any team in need. His top destinations are the Packers, The Bears, and the Giants.

Five- Bradley Chubb, Denver Broncos Edge Rusher

There are rumors going around that if the Broncos lose in London on Sunday then Bradley Chubb will be traded, and Nathaniel Hackett could be fired. Chubb has been an up and down edge rusher throughout his career, being one of the league’s best in 2019 and 2020. Then Von Miller was traded and he took a step back in his overall production, being the only goof rusher for the team. The Broncos have been very disappointing this year and Chubb’s contract ends this off-season, so now is the time to trade him. His top destinations would be the Lions, the Cardinals, and the Titans.

Philadelphia Eagles Sign 3x All-Pro In Place Of Jordan Davis · November 17, 2022 at 5:10 pm

[…] The biggest way Philadelphia help Suh is with his legacy in the NFL. The Eagles have been one of the best teams in the NFL this season and all the winning they due will automatically go on Suh’s Hall of Fame legacy. They also have some of the highest odds of any team in the league to make the Superbowl which would look great on Suh’s legacy as a player. Suh’s career had seemed like it was over after he went all of the offseason and half of the regular season unsigned, but the Eagles swooped in and gave him an opportunity instead of trading for someone at the deadline.
